Case summary
On September 25, 2014 EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Glenn Supply Company Inc. (Respondent) located in Osage County, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to an unauthorized produced water discharge resulting in a violation of the CWA. The AO requires the Respondent to (1) discontinue unauthorized discharges of pollutants; (2) remove all produced water from the flow path located between the facility and the discharge point of entry into the tributary of Salt Creek; and (3) remove all produced wastewater from the tributary of Salt Creek, which was discharged from the facility on or about May 15, 2014. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of receiving the AO.
