On September 26, 2014, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Jerry Langley Oil Company, LLC (Respondent) located in Union County, Arkansas. The AO requires the Respondent to (1) discontinue any discharge of pollutants which are unauthorized and must cease immediately; (2) remove all produced water from the flow path located between the facility and the discharge point of entry into the tributary of Smackover Creek; and (3) remove all produced wastewater from the tributary of Smackover Creek, which was discharged from the facility on or about April 23, 2014. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of receiving this AO.
