Case summary
On August 21, 2014, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Complaint (AC) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act to Warren American Oil Company located in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Respondent). The AC was issued in response to violations of: operating two injection wells without mechanical integrity or authorization to inject. The AC requires Respondent to pay a fifteen thousand dollar ($8,500) penalty and to cease using the wells for fluid injection receiving authorization to inject from the EPA.
