Case summary
A Consent Agreement and Final Order was filed with MarkWest Javelina Company on August 29, 2013, in order to address and resolve outstanding Clean Air Act violations at the Corpus Christi, Texas off-gas processing plant. The primary issues were not meeting the minimum heating value for the gas stream sent to the flare and exceeding the allowable visible emission limits at the flare.
