Case summary
On December 19, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 122.2 of the Clean Water Act to Gas Solutions, Ltd. located in Longview, Texas. The AO was issued in response to permit violations which may allow contaminants to be discharged to waters of the United States in violation to their NPDES discharge permit. The AO requires Gas Solutions, Ltd. to modify their permit application to include the non-permitted outfall ,to repair compromised equipment, develop and implement a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, to implement procedures to sample and monitor flow at each outfall. Gas Solutions must submit the required information on or before thirty days after receiving this Administrative Order.
