Case summary
On May 14, 2013, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1422 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Jireh Resources, LLC (Respondent) located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to violations of: (1) failure to plug injection wells within one year after termination of injection operations; and (2) failure to maintain injection wells in a manner which could allow contaminants to migrate into underground sources of drinking water (USDWs). The AO requires Respondent to complete appropriate actions to prevent contamination of USDWs. Respondent must respond to EPA Region 6 within 60 days. For more information, see documents, below.
