Case summary

On June 13, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 ane 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Glendell L. Gaskins located in Slick, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to violations of Section 301 of the CWA. The AO requires Glendell L. Gaskins to a (1) Cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; (2) remove all brine from the flow path located in between the facility and the identified tributary of Frank Henry Creek; and (3) remove all brine from the tributary of Frank Henry Creek. Glendell L. Gaskins must respond to EPA Region 6 with 30 days of receiving this AO.
