AO was issued in response to violations of effluent permit limitations for Biochemical Oxygen Demand and Total Suspended Solids. The AO requires Mora to complete the following activities within 90 days of the effective date of the order: 1) remove overgrown weeds from the lagoons and dike, 2) check lagoon capacity requirements, 3) confirm there are no tears or holes in the liners; 4) remove the aerators, and 5) provide adequate back up power to the facility; and 6) to begin construction of new wastewater treatment plant by October 1, 2012. Mora must respond to EPA Region 6 within 90 days of receipt of this order.
