Case summary
Respondent, the City of Gonzales, a municipality, owned or operated a small MS4, located in Gonzales, Ascension Parish, Louisiana. On March 29, 2011, EPA and LDEQ jointly audited the Storm Water Management Plan to evaluate their compliance with the permit. As a result of the audit, the Respondent was found to be noncompliant with the permit. EPA initiated appropriate enforcement action to initiate Respondent's compliance with the Clean Water Act. 07/09/2015 has a SWMP in place. EPA may conduct an MS4 Self-Assessment of the MS4 in the future.
