Cease and Desist Order. On April 29, 2011, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order under our authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act (CWA)to Fremont Exploration, Inc. located in Osage County Oklahoma. The Respondents oil field facility was a point source which discharged a pollutant to waters of the United States. The facility was inspected by the EPA on April 6, 2011. During the inspection, the EPA observed that a tank battery facility had discharged oil field brine and produced wastewater to tributary of Skiatook Lake.
