Case summary
On August 3, 2011, EPA Region 6 issued a Proposed Underground Injection Control (UIC) Administrative Order (Proposed AO) under our authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Wyatt Corporation located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The Proposed AO was issued in response to violations of failing to maintain an injection well so that it would not contaminate fresh water resources. The Proposed AO requires Wyatt Corporation to complete appropiate corrective action on the well to protect underground sources of drinking water. Wyatt Corporation must respond to EPA Region 6 within 15 days after the effective date of the Final Administrative action in the case. For more information, see documents below.
