Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source which discharged a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on January 21, 2010. During the EPA inspection it was observed that the facility had discharged oil field brine to a tributary of Brushy Creek. Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued requiring the following: cease the dicharge; remove the brine from the flow path located in between the facility and tributary; and,submt written certification.
