Violation: The Respondent's tank battery facility was a point source which discharged a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on January 22, 2010. During the inspection the EPA observed where the faciliy had discharged oil field brine to a tributary of Little Salt Creek. Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued requiring the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all the brine from the flow path; remove all the brine from the tributary; and, submit written certification.
