Case summary

Violation: The Respondent operated two pipeline facilities located in Rusk Co., TX. Both pipelines were a point source and had discharged a pollutant to a waters of the US. On January 29, 2009, the EPA inspected on of the pipelines and observed where the pipeline had discharged oil field brine into a tributary of Star Creek and on February 18, 2009, the EPA inspected the other pipeline and observed where the pipeline had discharged into Johnson Creek.
