Violation: The Respondent's flow line was a point source discharge of a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on May 20, 2009. During the inspection the inspector observed the flow line had ruptured and discharged oil field brine to a tributary of Rock Creek. Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued requirng the following: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all the brine from the flow path in-between the flow line and point of entry into the impacted water body; remove all the brine from the impacted water body; and submit written certification.
