Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source of a discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. The facility was inspected by an EPA inspector on October 8, 2008, the inspector cited the facility for an unauthorized discharge of oil field brine to Turkey Creek on or about the inspection date. Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requiring the Respondent to perform the following activities: cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; remove all brine and contaminated soils from the flow path inbetween the facility on point of entry; remove all brine from Turkey Creek; and to submit written certification.
