Violation: The Respondent's facility was a point source discharge of pollutants to waters of the US. The faciliy was inspected by the EPA on September 19, 2008, and the inspector observed the facility had an unauthorized discharged of oil field brine to a tributary of Hopper Creek on or about the inspection date. Relief: A Cease and Desist Administrative Order (AO) for Compliance is being issued for the violation. The AO is requiring the Respondent to perform the following: cease the discharge; remove the pollutants in-between the fcility and the point of entry into the impacted water body; remove the pollutants from the impacted water body; and submit written certification.
