Case summary

GLENN LEGE CONSTRUCTION, INC. (LAU000250): A storm water compliance inspection was conducted on May 20, 2008, at the residential construction site of the New Center Park Subdivision on East Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, LA. The inspection was conducted by Ken Aubuchon, James Eng, and Diana McDonald, EPA Region 6. Accompanying the EPA inspectors were staff from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) Acadiana Regional Office and staff from the Lafayette Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4). Lege Construction was the general contractor doing the dirt work at the site. It was determined that the company did not have permit coverage under the Construction General Permit. There were also no storm water controls installed to control runoff in the event of a rain event. An administrative order was drafted and routed for signature.
