Case summary
THE LAUREN GROUP, LLC (LAR10E985): A storm water compliance inspection was conducted on May 20, 2008, at the residential construction site of the New Center Park Subdivision on East Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, LA. The inspection was conducted by Ken Aubuchon, James Eng, and Diana McDonald, EPA Region 6. Accompanying the EPA inspectors were staff from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) Acadiana Regional Office and staff from the Lafayette Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4). The Lauren Group, LLC, is the owner/developer of the construction site. Mr. GregGachassin, President, was contacted prior to the inspection and declined to accompany inspectors on site inspection. While the operator had permit coverage, there was no Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan to review, and no inspections documented to review. There were minimum storm water controls on site.
