Case summary
Based on EPAs review of the February 14, 2008, CAFO annual compliance inspection, Gene Shed Farms violations of the Clean Water Act NPDES program were identified. The violations include, but are not limited to, the following: failure to maintain the animal waste retention structure (AWRS) to prevent the potential for discharge; and failure to maintain proper records to show manure/pond solids and liquid effluent applications are applied at the crop uptake levels.
