Case summary

On July 26, 2007, An Administrative Order was issued to Mr. Gary Lynch, owner of Lynch Livestock, Inc., for violating Section 301 of the Clean Water Act. The violations were identified based on the review of the Environmental Protection Agency’s inspection conducted on May 2, 2007. The violations found consist of inadequate records kept in the Pollution Prevention Plan (PPP) and inadequate maintenance of the animal wastewater retention structure’s (AWRS) embankment. Effective upon receipt of this Order, Lynch Livestock, Inc., shall take immediate actions to update and maintain all required documentation in the PPP, and take appropriate actions to maintain the AWRS embankment’s integrity.
