EPA v. WAYCOR MATERIALS, INC.
Unilateral Administrative Order Without Adjudication
Case summary
EPA performed a compliance inspection February 22, 2006, on Waycor Materials, Inc. The facility was found not unauthorized to discharge its storm water associated with industrial activities and thereby in violation of the Clean Water Act. This non compliance resulted in EPA issuing an Administrative Order CWA-06-2007-1725 that ordered the facility owner to comply immediately with federal storm water regulations. EPA previously issused for the same violation Administrative Order Docket No. CWA-06-2006-1957. Because this Order sufficiently addressed the aforementioned violation, the Order CWA-06-2007-1725 was rescinded. The Order CWA-06-2006-1957 remains active and enforceable at the present time.
