Wilcox Energy Company, LLC Class 1 Administrative Order Docket No. CWA-06-2006-1916 VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine (produced water), to the receiving waters of the South Fork of the Trinity River, located at 33 deg. 24.478' North latitude and 98 deg. 36.552' West longitude, Archer County, Texas. The discharge of brine was documented during an inspection conducted on both November 1, 2005. RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants and to take the necessary steps to prevent future discharges and remediate salt contaminated soils. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to install an automatically activated sump pump and to remove the drainpipe from the base of the containment berm.
