Moran-K Oil, LLC CWA-06-2006-1829 OKU000578 VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of Jacobs Creek, located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 7 North, Range 8 East, Hughes County, Oklahoma. An October 26, 2005 EPA inspection documented the discharge of brine from the facility. RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants; recover pollutants which were previously discharges from the facility; and to submit a written report summarizing these tasks. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to consider: (1) Repair leaking equipment; and (2) keeping the inside of the facility's secondary containment dry all the time.
