Respondent operates a commercial carpet cleaning company. One of their van operators discharged its carpet cleaning wastewater into the City of Euless municipal separate storm sewer system on October 26, 2004. Respondent was issued an Order to comply with the Clean Water Act, and has changed both its business practices and equipment so that future discharges are to sanitary sewer systems and in compliance with the NPDES discharge program (including pretreatment). This penalty is for the one time violation of unauthorized discharge.
