F & G MANAGEMENT, LLC CWA-06-2005-1762 OKU000528 VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's tank battery was a point source of discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Coon Creek, located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 27 North, Range 13 East, Washington County, Oklahoma. The discharge of brine was documented during a November 4, 2004 inspection. RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should cease all discharges of pollutants, remove a drain pipe, rebuild secondary containment, and remediate brine contaminated areas surrounding the facility by applying soil amendments to neutralize the sodium chloride. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to consider: (1) repairing or replacing leaking equipment; and (2) installing a sump pump.
