Case summary

A storm water compliance inspection was conducted June 2, 2004, by the EPA to determine compliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Construction General Permit (CGP). This was a linear construction site of approximately seven (7) acres for the installation of a 24 water transmission line. The City of Heath had submitted timely a Notice of Intent (NOI) but had not received it�s permit number at the time of the inspection. Observations noted permit violations, including no site inspections had been conducted, controls had not been installed and/or maintained in accordance with the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and there were no required postings. An administrative order was drafted to address these violations.
