Stacy Operating, LLC VIOLATIONS: The Respondent� tank battery facility was a �point source� �discharge� of �pollutants,� specifically brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary to Mud Creek, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, Pawnee County, Oklahoma. The discharge of brine was documented during a February 13, 2004 inspection. RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should also take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants and to neutralize the brine contaminated area north and west of the tank battery by applying soil amendments to neutralize the sodium chloride. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to consider: (1) reconstruct secondary containment; (2) install an automatically activated sump pump; (3) repair or replace equipment that is leaking to prevent the accumulation of brine around the facility.
