Advanced Containment Systems Inc. (ACSI) failed to comply with 30 TAC 335.2 [40 CFR 270.1], for operating a hazardous waste storage unit without interim status or a permit by failing to meet the permit requirements of 30 TAC 335.69 [40 CFR 262.34] as detailed in the (ECAFO). ACSI has agreed to enter into a Supplemental Environmental Program (SEP) as well as paying the stipulated fine. The SEP will save (recycle) approximately 15,000 gallons of water, per week, which would otherwise be discharged back into the environment.
