EPA inspected this facility and determined that the facility discharges pollutants in storm water runoff to a playa lake located on the property. EPA issued an Administrative Order requiring the facility to cease discharging storm water pollutants into the playa lake and to either segregate the part of the playa lake that receives storm water runoff or to move the animal confinement area further away from the playa lake. The Order also required the facility to must submit to EPA Region 6 its plan and timetable to accomplish these activities.
