Case summary

VIOLATION: The Permittee has chosen to delay construction activities until the issuance of a new permit. This action has resulted in a violation of the previously issued Administrative Schedule Order, in that, the Permittee failed to meet a scheduled deadline to consistently meet permit effluent limits and to address the inflow and infiltration problems at the wastewater treatment plant and within the collection system. **RELIEF SOUGHT: 1) Within thirty days, the Permittee shall take whatever corrective action is necessary to eliminate and prevent recurrence of the effluent violations, and shall submit a written report detailing the specific actions taken to correct the violations; 2) If complete correction of the violations is not possible within thirty days, within thirty days, submit a comprehensive plan to do so; and 3) Within forty-five days, arrange a Show Cause meeting with EPA.
