Respondent operates injection wells in Osage ;County, Oklahoma as provided by mineral mining leases with the Osage Nation. Respondent is subject to regulations under the Safe Drinking Water Act, Underground Injection Control (UIC)program. Applicable UIC regulations require that Respondent maintain injection wells so that fluids containing contaminants cannot move though the well bore into underground sources of drinking water (USDWs).
