Marysville Ethanol, LLC, Marysville, Michigan, facility has violated Section 112(r) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and violations of the Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions (CAPP), 40 C.F.R. Part 68. Marysville had not fully implemented its Risk Management Program. Specifically, Marysville failed to implement or develop process safety information, operating procedures, mechanical integrity, and compliance audits in violation of the CAPP and Program 3 Prevention Program. We discovered these violations based on information provided by Marysville facility during December 17, 2025, unannounced inspection. The facility is now in compliance and has corrected all the deficiencies. This ESA requires Marysville Ethanol, LLC to pay a penalty of $6,480.
