Case summary

EPA issued an NOV on December 3, 2021, that related to Ohio SIP violations including Mantaline?s failure to apply for the appropriate permit, and an opacity exceedance. EPA assessed the penalty as $201,302 and settled with the company for a penalty of $181,171, accounting for a -10% degree of cooperation.
