Case summary

On July 7, 2023, EPA requested U.S. Customs and Border Protection Refuse Admission of an import shipment of misbranded devices. EPA determined that the quantity of Bug Zapper Lamp Units, contained within the import shipment is misbranded. The pesticide device labels provided by the Importer of Record and uploaded into ACE do not include the EPA Establishment Number. The distribution or sale of misbranded devices, including the importation of such devices, is an unlawful act under Section 12(a)(1)(F) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(F).
