Case was referred to DOJ on July 31, 2019 and August 21, 2020 for the sale and installation of defeat devices, failure to respond to a CAA 208 information request, and illegal distributions under the Federal Debt Collection Procedures Act. The company became non-responsive in early 2021 and the U.S. filed a complaint on 12/15/2021 against Diesel Ops, Orion Diesel and the Owner of both companies. The Respondents failed to respond to the complaint and on 5/31/2022 the U.S. filed a motion for a default judgement and permanent injunction. On July 22, 2022, the court granted the U.S.'s motion and injunction and on August 29, 2022 the court issued a final judgement.
