Case summary

This amended CAFO is required due to a change in available diesel replacement projects for a SEP. The amended projects are similar in scope as those agreed to in the original CAFO. Specifically, Saint Paul Park Refining Company (SPPRC) will substitute the replacement of diesel-fired motive power on a tug boat with the replacement of diesel-fired motive power on a commercial cruise boat operated near the St. Paul, Minnesota area. Further, the Amendment to the CAFO provides that SPPRC will substitute the replacement of certain outmoded loader engines with loader engines or loaders that are comparable, but different from those identified in the original CAFO.
