Case summary

The Administrative Consent Order (ACO) requires that Skyway Cement follow a newly revised and EPA-approved fugitive particulate matter operating program for the facility. The fugitive particulate matter operating program requires the use of a meteorological station to track wind speeds and other weather data to alert Skyway Cement when fugitive particulate matter emission controls may be needed. The ACO also requires that Skyway purchase and use a new dry sweeper on paved roads at the facility. The ACO addresses the violations set forth in the NOV issued to Skyway Cement on March 23, 2017.
