Case summary

On February 26, 2014, EPA issued a Finding of Violation to Ultra Plating Corporation (Ultra Plating), Green Bay, Wisconsin for violations of the National Emission Standards (NESHAP) for Hard and Decorative Chromium Electroplating and Chromium Anodizing Tanks (Subpart N) and the NESHAP for Area Source Standards for Plating and Polishing Operations (Subpart WWWWWW). Since issuance of the Finding of Violation, Ultra Plating has addressed the alleged violations by making changes at its facility, submitting the required notices, updating its recordkeeping forms, and conducting a performance test to demonstrate compliance with its emission limits.
