Case summary

On 9/1/2010, EPA conducted EPCRA 311/312 compliance inspections at Ohio Ready-Mix's Huntsville and Bellefontaine, OH facilities. During the course of these inspections, another facility, at Marysville, OH, was confirmed. An information request was sent to the Marysville facility in lieu of an inspection. At each of the three facilities, at least one hazardous chemical was stored in quantities 10 times over the substance's threshold limit. No Tier II reports were filed with the SERC, LEPC or local fire departments for any of the three facilities for calendar years 2007 and 2008. Tier II reports for Huntsville and Bellefontaine were filed nearly a year late for calendar year 2009. No Tier II report for 2009 was filed for the Marysville facility.
