EPA v. Concrete Supply of Illinois (East St. Louis) CAFO

Case summary

During October of 2010, EPCRA 311/312 compliance inspections were conducted at seven facilities belonging to Concrete Supply of Illinois LLC. EPA inspectors discovered that all seven facilities had hazardous chemicals in amounts equal to or greater than the minimum threshold reporting levels and that Tier II forms (as well as MSDSs) for these substances had not all been submitted to the SERC, LEPC and local fire departments for these sites for calendar years 2008 and/or 2009.
