.On July 3, 2012 a combined Administrative Complaint and Consent Agreement and Final Order (Order) was filed resolving hazardous waste violations discovered at Plas-Tanks Industries in Hamilton, Ohio. Plas-Tanks Industries manufactures resin-based storage tanks. The violations included failure to obtain an EPA ID number, properly mark, date, and keep closed containers of hazardous waste, and post emergency information. In response to a Notice of Violation letter Plas-Tanks Industries provided documentation showing that they had obtained an EPA ID number and addressed the container and emergency information violations. The Order requires payment of an $18,489 civil penalty.
