The facility has violated it's requirements to capture and control its VOC emissions from entering into the air. The facility has spent over $111,000 to reduce VOC emissions, in order to comply with its existing requirements. In doing so, the plant has reduced emissions by 19,896 pounds of VOC per year. In addition, the company will also implement two supplemental environmental projects (SEP's) that reduce air emissions into the Chicago Pilsen neighborhood (EJ area of concern).
