Case summary

The Metal Dynamics is a facility of environmental justice concern, and the settlement will benefit the community residing near the facility. Metal Dynamics will no longer accept small appliances, MVACs, and MVAC-like appliances with cut or dismantled lines unless its supplier can provide written verification that all refrigerant had not leaked previously and was evacuated prior to putting or dismantling the refrigerant lines.
