Case summary
This enforcement action constitutes a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) entered into with the Respondent in resolution of alleged violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) stemming from a September 19, 2007 EPA inspection. The alleged violations included: 1) Temporary storage of hazardous waste demolition debris in open piles (located on a concrete containment pad) without a RCRA Permit; 2) Contingency planning deficiencies; and 3) Training record keeping deficiencies. All alleged violations were corrected by the Respondent prior to the issuance of this CAFO. The CAFO required Respondent to pay a $24,054 civil penalty within 30 days of its issuance.
