Case summary

On September 15, 2008, and November 20, 2008, Rentech disclosed violations of 40 C.F.R. Part 82, Subpart F (the Stratospheric Ozone Protection regulations) at the East Dubuque Nitrogen Production Facility, #1 Nitric Acid Plant to EPA. Rentech failed to comply with the leak repair regulations of the Stratospheric Ozone Protection provisions of Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7471g.
