EPA REACHES AGREEMENT WITH W.R. GRACE, CHICAGO, IL FOR RCRA VIOLATIONS On September 29, 2005, EPA Region 5 filed an administrative consent agreement and final order under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act regarding the W.R. Grace facility located at 6050 West 51st Street in Chicago. The violations were identified during inspections at the facility in 2002 and 2004 and through information requested from the company. In particular, the facility was cited for storing hazardous waste for greater than 90 days, as well as other violations of the Illinois Administrative Code relating to large quantity generators of hazardous waste. A $17,522 fine was agreed upon.
