EPA v. VECTOR PIPELINE, L.P.

Final Order With Penalty

Case summary

Vector Pipeline, L.P. violated its Title V permit limits for carbon monoxide (CO) at its Highland, Michigan compressor station and at its Springville, Indiana compressor station. Vector discovered the violations and immediately corrected the problems that were responsible for the excess emissions. Vector applied for revised Title V permits in both Michigan and Indiana as a means of accepting federally enforceable limitations on facility CO emissions. Parametric monitoring systems are being implemented at each facility to track compliance with the CO limitations. Vector has agreed to pay a penalty for its past violations.
