The CAFO resolves the company�s alleged violation regarding failure to comply with the leak detection and repair requirements for equipment that manages hazardous waste spent solvents. Although IT&E eventually provided documentation indicating the equipment met the criteria for an exclusion contained in the regulations, the company failed to comply with the identification and record keeping requirements for the exclusion. In the CAFO IT&E certifies that it is in compliance with the requirements and agrees to pay a civil penalty of $4,070.
