Case summary
SG violated the Steel Pickling NESHAP during a stack test. The U.S. EPA issued a Finding of Violation (FOV) to the facility. ISG was quick to investigate the matter and discovered a problem with the control device on its pickling line. Once the control device was repaired, ISG tested again and found that their emission were well below the emission standard in the NESHAP.
